Abundance of Rain

I KINGS 18:41
And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

We have been encouraged as of late. We have heard of many testimonies of how God has visited and is visiting His people. We have baptized many in water and look to see the fulfilling of scripture which also promises the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The promise is unto us and to our children and those that are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call. We should live under expectation for a visitation from the Spirit of the Lord.  I love the following scripture and I encourage you to keep the faith while you are waiting on God to visit you with a filling or refilling of the Holy Ghost.

HEBREWS 10:35-37
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

I also encourage you to rest in this quote as well. While resting, keep praying and fasting.

And I believe God’s going to fill this church with the Holy Ghost, till you hear a scream that’ll–that’ll swing out through Jeffersonville here. I’m waiting and praying every day and night, waiting just for the crucial moment. You keep fasting, keep praying; getting the kids together, get rid of all the sin around your home, as Jacob said, “Take off your earrings and wash your garments.” Get ready. Oh, I hear the sound of abundance of rain.

  1. My heart’s desire is the baptism of the Holy Ghost. What was done in the past I heard the pastor preach, is now time to recover from, for me. I know the person I am today is not the same person I was yesterday. Don’t get me wrong, Satan will throw anything in your way to stop you from receiving what God wants for you and to stop you from living the right way.
