A dose of Proverbs

I happened to be reading through the book of Proverbs a few days ago. I saw a few verses that I thought were worth posting. I pray you will get encouragement from the living Word of God.

PROVERBS 13:15 – Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.
PROVERBS 13:22 – A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
PROVERBS 14:5 – A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
PROVERBS 14:7 – Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
PROVERBS 14:12 -There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
PROVERBS 14:15 -The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
PROVERBS 14:19 -The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
PROVERBS 15:1 – A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
PROVERBS 15:3 – The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
PROVERBS 15:16 – Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.
