Revelation 2010 – (You Gone Get It)
I was thoroughly encouraged by the message from our Bro. Caleb Wesco today. I thought I would share a quote which he referred to in his message “The Revelation of Your Enemy”.
LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE – CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9“These things saith the AMEN.”I like that. It means that whatever He said is final. It means that whatever He said to the first age and to the second and to all ages about His own true church and about the false vine is exactly right and it won’t change. It means that what He started out with in Genesis, He will finish in Revelation. He has to for He is the Amen, SO LET IT BE. Now we can see again why the devil hates the Books of Genesis and Revelation. He hates the truth. He knows the truth will prevail. He knows what his end will be. How he fights that. But we are on the winning side. We (I mean the believers of His Word, only) are on the Amen side.William Marrion Branham
If we can get a revelation that we are battling a defeated enemy, we can be at peace in the midst of our storms. Bro. Caleb referred to a story he heard in which a son was reading a book and his father heard him saying “you gone get it, you gone get it, you gone get it. The father asked his son why he kept saying that. The son replied, I have been reading this book about the cowboys and the indians. It seemed the good guys were always being defeated and I was so discouraged in reading, that I turned to the back of the book and I noticed the good guys won. Therefore as I read through the book I know and I can say to the bad guy, you gone get it, you gone get it, you gone get it. Thus we were encouraged to turn to Revelations 20:10 and we read:
REVELATION 20:10
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Pastor Jack Duff
Amen, Bro. Jack. Today I’ve been think a lot about what he said regarding the devil knowing he has a short time. The devil knows he has a short time and is nervously running around trying to stir up trouble; yet, we, as believers, can stand still and know that God is God and there’s no need to fight… For the battle is not ours but The Lords’. I thank God for restoring the joy of my salvation yesterday. Having a revelation of who the devil was, who he is, and who he will be really has encouraged me and has given me the strength to keep on keeping on. Who the devil was? Defeated. Who is he right now? Defeated. And if he tries to discourage me in the future, I already know what his ending is going to be…. Defeated! 🙂
Amen! I was truly blessed by that message. I realized that I’m on the Winning Team. There’s no way we can lose. It’s over Satan. Forget it! Thank God for the Revelation of my Enemy: he’s a gonner! Thank You Jesus for the victory!!!!
That is very uplifting to hear the devil can’t ever win this battle of mine, because I believe as believers we are capable of overcoming whatever the devil puts in our daily life.
