In the midst of a drought
I was reading in I Kings 17 a few weeks ago and noticed the miracles that were performed in the midst of the drought. By definition, a drought is a shortage of water or it could be a shortage of anything. We certainly realize there is shortage of many things in our present economic condition. However, we are encouraged that God is still in control in the midst of this drought. I wanted to encourage you with a portion of scripture that I read on yesterday in which I thought was very appropriate.
II CHRONICLES 16:9
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…..
His Eye is on the sparrow, and I know he watches me. Be encouraged for God is looking to help you in the midst of your drought.
